BEHIND THE MUSIC:

This is a rock ballad that features my vintage Gold Top Les Paul guitar. I recently had it set up by Brandon at The Music Store and it is playing so wonderfully now! There are several tracks and I feel this is some of the best guitar work I've ever done since I was able to relax and feel the melody instead of being intent on the technical proficiency of the performance. I also included my newest Native Flute in the chorus which just happened to be be in the right key for the song. Lyrically this was inspired by my wife who I know loves me and shows it in so many ways that I take for granted most of the time. The cover image is from the Léopold Sedar Senghor bridge we visited in Paris where lovers buy locks, make a wish, and throw away the key into the Seine River once they secure the lock. In 2014, another bridge in Paris, Pont des Arts (aka the love lock bridge), actually collapsed from the weight of 700,000 locks...that's a whole lotta' love!
