Mammoth

The tattooed Mammoth is her companion and protector. The fair skinned African Queen communicates without words in the ceremonial ritual that has brought centuries of peace to her people. In the shadows of Kilamnjaro they lift their voices in praise of the sacred mammoth who walks across the mirrored pools.

This digital painting was completed in photoshop by Mark Greenawalt. Reference photos were shot by New York photographer Don Crossland of model Gummi.
